MERRIMAC – Merrimac residents are invited to attend two public forums to learn more about Town Meeting warrant articles, as well as Proposition 2 ½ override and debt exclusion questions that will be posed to voters in the coming weeks.

Town of Merrimac Seeking Volunteers to Serve on Town Governance Committee
MERRIMAC – The Select Board is seeking volunteers to serve on a Town Governance Study Committee.
The Town Governance Study Committee will evaluate and ensure an effective, accountable organizational structure for Merrimac’s government, benefiting both residents and stakeholders. The committee will provide a final report to the Select Board and Town Meeting with recommended changes.
Committee members can expect to meet monthly, with the study anticipated to take 12 to 18 months to complete.
Those interested in joining should send a letter of interest to the Select Board office via email at selectmen@townofmerrimac.com and fill out the volunteer form on the Town’s website townofmerrimac.com/vacancies.
