Winter Street Water Main Replacement Project to Begin 4/14
The Winter Street Water Main Replacement project will begin Monday, April 14th. The road will be open to single lane local traffic, please avoid the area as much as possible and use caution. Town of Merrimac Invites Community to Attend MBTA Communities By-Law Meeting *DATE CHANGE* Monday 3/10
The Community Meeting will be held on *DATE CHANGE* Monday, March 10th at 6PM at Town Hall. It will provide an overview to the MBTA Communities Act and give residents the opportunity to discuss the location for the Zoning District, draft By-Law, and for staff to address questions. This is the second meeting for this project, a follow up of the 12/10 kickoff meeting held with Merrimac Valley Planning Commission. The development of the Town’s MBTA Communities Zoning District is funded through a grant received by the Town.
Finance Committee Seeks New Members for Upcoming Budget Preparation
The Merrimac Finance Committee is in need of two additional members to prepare the budget to be presented at Annual Town Meeting in April. The committee meets weekly on Mondays at 6:00pm at Town Hall from now until mid-March.
