Annual Town Meetings
The Annual Town Meeting shall convene each year on the last Monday in April at 7:30 p.m. Continuation of the meeting will begin at 7:30 p.m. on the second Monday in May and if needed the third Monday in May. All Town Meetings are held at the Frederick N Sweetsir School on Church Street.
Special Town Meetings
The fall Special Town meeting will convene on the third Monday in October at 7:30 p.m. These meetings held on certain dates will not require a quorum, those registered voters, whatever the number, present at 7:30 p.m. will constitute the quorum. All Town Meetings are held at the Frederick N Sweetsir School on Church Street.
Annual Town Elections
The Annual Town Election is held on the first Monday in May, the polls are open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. The polling location for the town is the Public Library on W Main Street.

Nomination papers are available at the Town Clerk’s office now through March 12th.
Elections will be held on May 4th at the Merrimac Public Library. Early, in-person voting will be Monday April 27th through Thursday April 30th 10:00 AM-3:00 PM
