Important Notice Regarding Open & New Permits

As of Friday, March 27th, 2020 at 3:00 p.m. the Town of Merrimac is stopping all construction work on open permits and stopping the issuance of new permits through April 13th, 2020 unless it directly pertains to a life safety issue.

We believe it is in the best interest of the community to ensure the health and safety of not only the community members, but of the contractors as well. 

If you believe you have an open permit or need to pull a permit that falls under this designation, please reach out to Alyssa Sexton at asexton@townofmerrimac.com to discuss.

Permits may continue to be pulled, but if it is not related to life safety they will not be issued until such time as we have opened construction work up again. Go to www.townofmerrimac.com for the Online Permitting portal.
