Important Notice Regarding Inspections

Town Hall/Inspectional Services is closed to the public until further notice. Office staff will be available to assist via e-mail (preferred) asexton@townofmerrimac.com and phone 978-346-0525.

Permits are still online at www.townofmerrimac.com. Once approved for payment you may mail or drop a clearly labeled check in the drop box located to the right of the front doors of Town Hall. If you have questions while applying for your permit, please reach out via e-mail.

All inspections not pertaining to life safety for Building, Gas, Plumbing, Electrical & Sheet Metal are temporarily suspended.

If you have an inspection that you feel is essential (related to loss of heat, electricity etc.) please contact us and we will schedule that as soon as we can.

The safety of our Inspectors and our community is top priority, if an inspection is deemed essential please be mindful and practice safe distancing during your inspection.
