TOWN OF MERRIMAC
NOTICE OF CABLE TELEVISION PUBLIC HEARING
Monday, October 30, 2017 at 7:00 p.m.
The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Merrimac, Massachusetts, as Cable Television License Issuing Authority under M.G.L. c.166A, will conduct a public hearing on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. at Merrimac Town Hall, 4 School Street, Merrimac. The purpose of the public hearing will be to determine whether to issue a cable television license to COMCAST OF CONNECTICUT/GEORGIA/ MASSACHUSETTS/NEW HAMPSHIRE/NEW YORK/NORTH CAROLINA/VIRGINIA/VEMONT, LLC. (“COMCAST”)
All applications, reports, statements and/or amendments in the possession of the Town to be considered at the hearing shall, if in the possession of the Town, be available for public inspection and reproduction at the Board of Selectmen’s Office at the Town Hall during regular town hall hours. Members of the public are invited to attend and to be heard on: (a) whether the current cable operator is in full compliance with its existing cable license and (b) the Town’s future community cable-related needs.
