The Merrimac Planning Board will conduct a Public Hearing on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 7:35 PM in the second floor Sargent Auditorium of Town Hall, 2 School St., Merrimac, MA. in accordance with MGL Chapter 40A, Section 5 to consider the following amendment to the Merrimac Zoning By-law:
Amend ARTICLE 3 BASICREQUIREMENTS FOR ALL DISTRICTS, Section 3.1 Prohibited Uses by the addition of a subsection 3.1.1 to read “The operation of all types of non-medical marijuana establishments as defined in GL c94G sec 1, including marijuana cultivators, marijuana testing facilities, marijuana product manufacturers, marijuana retailers or any other type of licensed marijuana related business within the Town of Merrimac”. Copies of this amendment are available at the Office of the Town Clerk and the Planning Office during regular business hours of these offices.
